Give your family the ultimate in farm-fresh nutrition with pasture-raised eggs from our family farm.
Our flock of 100 Rhode Island Reds roams freely across 20 lush, pesticide-free acres. They spend their days doing what comes naturally—scratching for bugs, sunbathing, and pecking at fresh green grass. Every evening, they safely return to their secure, raised coop to roost.
What goes into every dozen.
A carton holds twelve, so here are twelve things we do to raise good, farm fresh eggs.

Egg labels can be confusing
Cage-free and pasture-raised sound alike.
They're very different.
We'd rather you get to know our farm than have to trust a label.
Conventional
Set up to make lots of eggs at a low price. You'd have a hard time ever meeting the farmer, or the hens.
Cage-Free
A step up from cages. USDA describes it as hens that roam around inside a barn, so getting outside isn't part of the deal.
Pasture-Raised
That's ours. They're out on fresh grass every day, scratching around like chickens do.
Beyond Organic
That's the standard we hold ourselves to. We don't use any pesticides on our farm, synthetic or organic.
Getting your eggs
Order in our Shop or shoot me a text.
These are local eggs, so I don't ship them.
I hand them to you myself, right here in Nassau County.
At the farm in Hilliard
Come out to the farm at 48229 Hinson Way and pick them up right where they're laid. I'm around Monday through Saturday, so just let me know when you're coming and I'll have them ready.
Meet me in Hilliard or Callahan
If the farm's a bit of a drive for you, I can meet you in the post office parking lot in either town, Monday through Saturday. Since I'm driving in, I do ask that the order comes to at least $25. Three dozen will get you there, or you can add roasters and/or pouches of our powders.
Just a heads-up, cash only please when you pick up.
And if you have a cooler, bring it along. Eggs like to stay cold on the ride home.

Things people ask us
What does Beyond Organic mean?
It's a standard we set for ourselves, not a USDA certification. We don't use pesticides of any kind on our farm, synthetic or organic, and that includes the pasture where our hens spend their days.
Are these eggs really from your farm?
Yes, every single one of them. They all come from our own hens right here. We don't source eggs from anybody else to resell.
Are your hens really outside on pasture?
They sure are, every day. They have 20 acres to wander and be chickens, and at night they sleep in a raised coop where they're dry and safe from predators.
How is pasture-raised better than free-range eggs?
USDA calls free-range an industry term for cage-free hens with access to the outdoors during their laying cycle. Ours are out on pasture every day, so they always have new grass under their feet.
Are they organic eggs?
They are not, but we take it a step further. Here's what we do: our hens eat bugs and grass on pastures that have absolutely zero pesticides, not even organic ones. They are further supplemented with certified organic, non-GMO feed. That's what we mean by Beyond Organic.
What do they eat?
They forage for bugs and grass on our pesticide-free pasture, and we supplement that with certified organic, non-GMO feed too.
How fresh are the eggs?
We gather them by hand every morning. Then we wash and sanitize them by hand and put them straight into the fridge at 40°F or below. Most of the time they get to you within a week after they're laid.
Why $9 a dozen?
Great question. It works out to only 75 cents an egg. The biggest piece of that is feed. We buy certified organic, non-GMO feed for our hens, and it's our biggest cost. The rest goes into the everyday work of maintaining their pesticide free pastures and surroundings and gathering and washing every egg by hand.
Is there a rooster? Are the eggs fertile?
There is! His name's Cocky, and he protects our 100 hens. No worries, a fertile egg won't develop without incubation, and ours go into the fridge as soon as they're washed and sanitized. Once in a while you might spot a little white dot on the yolk. It looks and cooks just like any other egg.
Why are you sometimes sold out?
Our hens decide how many eggs we get, and they slow down in some seasons. Since we only sell what our own flock lays, some weeks there just aren't enough to go around. Feel free to text me and ask when the next batch will be ready.
Can you ship eggs?
Not eggs, I'm afraid. You can pick them up here in the Jacksonville area at the farm, or I'll meet you in Hilliard or Callahan. Our powders are the ones that ship, anywhere in the USA.
Do you sell anything else?
We sure do! We grow and freeze-dry microgreen and vegetable powders right here and pack them in pouches that ship anywhere in the USA. We also raise Cornish Cross roasters, sold whole and frozen, for pickup the same way as eggs.
100 hens.
1 rooster named Cocky.
A lot of really good eggs.
