Whole Beyond Organic Cornish Cross roasters, 5 to 7 lb, from our family farm near Jacksonville, FL. $34.99, and every batch sells out. Pick up in Hilliard or Callahan, Monday to Saturday.
One of these feed six people at my table. Our birds spend their days out in the Florida sun in coops that sit just above our pasture, so they stay dry and safe from predators. They eat certified organic, non-GMO feed, and we process every bird ourselves, right here on the farm.

Why Our Roasters Are Different
- Clean, healthy birds: Cornish Cross are heavy birds. Keeping them just above the pasture keeps them dry and clean while they soak up the sun.
- Beyond Organic: no sprays anywhere on our farm, not even the ones organic rules allow.
- Processed on our farm: every bird is processed by us, right here, so we know exactly how it was handled from start to finish.
- Every batch has sold out so far: we raise small batches.
How to Cook It
- Roast or air-fry: season it with herbs, garlic and butter for crispy skin and juicy meat.
- Grill or smoke: spatchcock (flatten) the bird so it cooks evenly over charcoal or wood.
- Make broth: save the bones and the neck for a good pot of homemade broth.

Questions People Ask
How do coops over pasture help the birds?
Cornish Cross are heavy birds that don't move around much, and damp ground isn't good for them. Our coops sit just above the pasture, so the birds stay dry and clean while getting sunshine all day.
Where can I pick one up near Jacksonville, FL?
At our farm in Hilliard, or I'll meet you in the Hilliard or Callahan post office parking lot. Both towns are in Nassau County, just north of Jacksonville.
Can I get a bird from every batch?
Sure. Text me at 904-878-5988 and I'll put your name down for the next batch. There's no deposit.
What do your chickens eat?
Certified organic, non-GMO feed, on a farm where we don't use pesticides of any kind.
Can you ship whole chickens?
Not the birds, I'm afraid. They stay right here in Florida.
